Sanjay Uppal brings over 25 years of experience in financial and accounting management to his role as CFO for MontaVista.

Sanjay served as Chief Financial Officer or Vice President of Finance at KSR, Continuent, Extensil, and Challenger Systems, where he was responsible for financial and accounting functions, developed annual operating and long-term strategic plans, led several rounds of funding efforts, and supervised the financial operations of several foreign subsidiaries. Sanjay was Vice President of Corporate Planning at BlueStar Solutions, where he developed business and valuation models for the company's ongoing operations as well as its M&A activities.

Prior to that, Sanjay spent over 10 years at Amdahl Corporation, where he held a variety of roles in Finance and was ultimately responsible for the financial team that spun off the company's services business and prepared it for an IPO. Early in his career, Sanjay was an analyst in the M&A group of Coopers & Lybrand.

Sanjay has an MBA from the University of Pittsburgh, and a BA from the University of Bombay. He is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.
